James Cisco is originally from a little town called Normal, near Chicago, in Illinois, U.S.A.
His father, a banjo enthusiast and musician, put James in the local banjo band at a very early age. He went on to play throughout America and Australia, building a career that has spanned over twenty years.
James plays old time favourites from the early 1900s through to the 1940s. Some of these songs are instantly recognisable no matter your age and for others they bring back wonderful memories and feelings of times when things were simpler.
